Homes that took on water during Idalia and weren't professionally dried and tested are carrying hidden mold today.
Beyond storms, Spring Hill's year-round climate is relentlessly humid. The community's dominant housing stock was built in the 1970s during a rapid development boom — a period when vapor barriers, HVAC efficiency, and moisture management in construction were minimal concerns.
